Our annual Women’s Retreat will be at the beautiful Murrieta Hot Springs Christian Conference Center the weekend of October 25th -27th, 2019.
Our theme this year is “Traveling Light.” God has place this theme on our hearts, and all planning has been based around His precious promise and guidance for each one of us to travel light. Our guest speaker is Janie Alfred. Janie has been a teacher, conference speaker, and has served as Dean of Women at Calvary Chapel Bible College in California. She’s been a pastor’s wife for over 35 years and gave her life to the Lord in February 1967. Her husband Justin was a senior pastor of several churches from 1968-1997. Janie is mother of five girls, one of whom who tragically lost her life at 19 years of age. Janie is a much loved woman of God who speaks nationally and internationally. She will touch your heart with godly wisdom and southern humor.
Our desire for the weekend is for you to be poured into, loved on, encouraged, and given tools in the Word of God to strengthen your life. We will have time in worship, teaching as we open God’s Word together. There will also be free time for you to enjoy the pools, hot springs, coffee shop, and book store, as well of spending alone time with the Lord.
Prayerfully considered coming on this special weekend get-away with you and the Lord. Payment plans are available.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHO CAN ATTEND? For ladies 18 and older.
WILL I BE ROOMING WITH OTHER LADIES? Yes, Our lodges have rooms that sleep up to 6 ladies. We do our best to accommodate the requests for roommates made at the time of registration. It really helps us when each roommate request matches up with one another. You will know who will be in your room when you check in. If there needs to be changes we will try our best to accommodate your request once all the ladies in the rooms have checked in on Friday. We put a lot of time and prayer into assigning rooms, so thanks for being gracious.
CAN I REQUEST A TWO PERSON ROOM? If you would prefer a 2-person room, we have a registration option that can be added for an additional fee. There are a limited number of 2- person rooms available, and they fill up quickly; once this option is full, you will no longer be able to select that option.
WHAT MEALS ARE PROVIDED? The retreat begins with dinner the first night, and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. We appreciate our conference center chefs and staff! They work hard to make everything delicious and special. All meals are served family style.
I’M GLUTEN-FREE. WHAT CAN I EAT? Their current menu is designed with you in mind and is largely gluten and nut free, with little dairy. They try to be “gluten friendly” they serve lots of salads and usually a main protein without gluten added. However, we cannot guarantee that it is completely gluten free. If you need a vegetarian meal during registration, we would be happy to accommodate
I HAVE SOME PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS We would be happy to accommodate you as best we are able. If you need assistance getting around campus, just pick up a phone in your lodge and a conference staff member will be happy to pick you up in a cart. Please list any physical limitations when you register.
CAN I BRING MY BABY? Nursing moms, you are welcome to come with your baby if you are able to fill a room with 4-5 other ladies or moms who are willing to room with an infant. There in no childcare provided. We would just ask that you please be sensitive to those around you and sit toward the back in case you need to leave to quit your baby. If you prefer a 2-person room we have that registration option that can be added for an additional fee.
