Wendi Fraley is the Women of Wildwood Ministry Coordinator as well as the director of projects at Wildwood Calvary Chapel. In 1998, Pastor Chris and Wendi had the heart to plant a new fellowship in the heart of Yucaipa. They knew if they were faithful to what the Lord had called them to do He would bring the increase.

As a young girl, Wendi grew up in a Christian home where the Word was the template for living. At the age of seven her family moved from the farmlands of Minnesota to sunny California. In 1985, she and Chris met at Banning High School where they both attended. In 1990, the couple was married. Wendi served alongside Chris in youth ministry. They were blessed to have three beautiful children: two boys, Tyler and Sawyer, and a girl, Tori.

In the fall of 2004, Wendi took on the role of women’s ministry coordinator. The Lord laid it on her heart to develop a practical ministry that women of all walks of life could attend and be fed. The driving force for the ministry has been James 1:22-25, “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. 25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.” [NLT]

Wendi’s passion for leading the Women of Wildwood is evident by the love that she shows for them. She loves to teach, write curriculum, and plan events for the ladies.

Kristy Philips

Kristy feels blessed to be used as a vessel to speak the Word of God to the Women of Wildwood. Her desire is to direct the women to cling to the Lord in all seasons of life, whether it is in the valleys of trial and tribulation or the hills of blessings and bounty! She’s drawn to the verse Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,
and He will make your paths straight.” The Lord gave this verse to Kristy when she was going through the loss of her first child. He reminded her that HE is the one that calms the storms and walks on the waters, and to keep her eyes focused on Him. Kristy has been involved in women’s study for 10 years and teaching for 4. She was born and raised in Yucaipa, California and met her husband, Tim, on the high school track team. They have been married for 16 years and they have 3 beautiful girls: Dori, Jade, and Daisy. She works as an independent study teacher and in her spare time enjoys sitting in the stands on the softball field, cheering her daughters on!

Ginger Vert

Ginger Vert has been on wildwood’s women teaching team for 3 years. Her passion is to let women know how much they are truly LOVED by Jesus Christ. No matter where they have come from or where they are in their journey, Gingers desire is to remind the women that they have been created with an important purpose and are loved and adored deeply by their Heavenly Father ,who sent His son to die for them. Ephesians 2:4-5 – “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved …” Ginger moved to Yucaipa when she was in 1st grade. Her and her mom attended Calvary Chapel Redlands growing up and she accepted Christ when she was in elementary school and rededicated her life to the Lord at Harvest Christian Fellowship when she was 18. She married her high school sweet heart James and they just celebrated their 22 year anniversary together. God has blessed them with 2 kids, Brittanie and Matthew and a son in-law Ben. They also have 3 grandpups but are really excited for some human grandkids in their near future.
