In 2019, the Lord placed a burden on the hearts of our Women’s Ministry leadership to respond to the growing worldly influence impacting our lives, families, churches, and communities. Inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:6, our mission is to awaken, equip, and empower women to stand for biblical truth and righteousness.
Our Annual Wake Up Conference is an intentional gathering rooted in Scripture, designed to strengthen women in the Word and prepare them to live out their faith with conviction in today’s culture, a call to spiritual awareness and bold faith for such a time as this.
Woven throughout the weekend, there will be meaningful moments of worship, teaching, and encouragement. We will begin with a special worship night and opening message on Friday evening, a time to prepare our hearts before the Lord, and lay every burden at His feet. We will end the evening with a time of gathering, fellowship, & campfires.
On Saturday morning, our conference continues. We are honored to welcome keynote speaker Natasha Crain, a national speaker, author, and podcaster whose passion is to help Christians think more clearly about holding to a biblical worldview in a secular culture.
Conference sessions will address vital topics such as “Persevering as salt and light in a hostile culture” and “Dealing with doubt,” among others.
Our prayer every year is that every woman who attends will be:
• Awakened to the pressing issues facing the Church and culture
• Educated in how to defend her faith
• Empowered with a deeper understanding of God’s Word and her God-given purpose
Just as a quilt brings warmth, strength, and unity from many pieces, we gather as one body to be strengthened and equipped in Christ. We can no longer remain silent. This is our time to wake up and stand firm in faith.
